I love to do nature photography, especially wildflowers, especially during the spring. But anytime of year is ok with me, as long there aren't too many mosquitoes.

This reminds me of snow trillium hill in Iowa. I wonder what wildflowers will emerge? Thanks for doing the discovery and photography so we can enjoy the progression of spring no matter where we are.
Mary, Thanks! Yes it does look a little like Snow Trillium Hill. It brings back fond memories. I did not think of the similarity in the landscapes, however, because this hill does not have a lake beside it. The "feel" is different here because there is also a trail walking right past it. Nevertheless, there is a stream nearby, and lots of nice scenery. This forest is suprisingly similar to the ones of eastern Iowa--including the rocks scattered around. I would love to return to Snow Trillium Hill sometime during the spring. One of these days, I probably will.
