Solomon's Seal (and a Bug)

The flowers of Solomon's Seal hang on to water droplets after a rain. Fortunately, these flowers were located beside a dark fallen log, which provided nice contrast for the scene. I found this plant on the Cove Hardwood Trail in the Smokies on April 27, 2006. It was so difficult to get low to the ground (between some other fallen logs) that it wasn't until I got home that I realized that there was a bug on one of the flowers!
